A beach day favorite! We love to snag sandwiches from here for our beach days. Pro tip order ahead and pick up your order as parking is limited and there can sometimes be a long line on the weekends. We like the District and Toscana. The fresh focaccia bread takes it over the top. Not to mention their spreads. Always a delight! Enjoy! Xx, H

We visited this location and had lunch. The quality of the food is very high, the “schiacciata” is very similar to the one they serve in Florence, maybe just less oily than the Italian one. It reminded us our lovely Italian food, absolutely a place to visit (on Sunday we had to wait in line for a bit but it is worth the wait). Staff very friendly, maybe would be better to pay first and then order then the other way around.

Delicious sandwiches. A friend recommended this spot - they are not really a sandwhich person but will eat from here. The bread and spreads are the highlights. The pistachio creamy spread that came on LA Broadway was delicious. I also tried the truffle spread from my friend's Manolo. All the ingredients are super fresh, and the sandwhich is huge.

My friend and I purchased tickets for a bread making night. We had such a good time. I learned a lot about their bread and left with a very full belly.

Nearly a month ago I had the pleasure of dining at All'Antico Vinaio not once but twice in two days; a fantastic dinner followed by an amazing brunch sandwich. For the dinner, I went with the Broadway and added Bresaola. The next day, a Broadway with Pancetta added. As you probably guessed, the dinner was so good I had to go back for another the following day. Both sandwiches were fantastic. As soon as you walk in, you recognize Matt, the GM, really cares about quality and service. He was super helpful in answering all my questions that first night. From how the bread was made, the flour used, the fermentation process, I knew this place was special. The next day, I got to know Matt a little better as we had a conversation outside on the patio while I enjoyed my second sandwich of the weekend. While entertaining my curiosities about his work history with the establishment, he was attentive enough to pick up garbage and clean the tables. If you want both a delicious sandwich in an exceptional environment, I hope you have the opportunity to dine with your family and friends at All'Antico Vinaio. You will be grateful you decided to have your meal with Matt and his team.

Great Italian sandwich spot. The ingredients were so fresh and delicious. The prosciutto was great and the mozzarella with the olive oil and tomato and basil were great. The focaccia was also very good but it was a tad bit too crunchy for me. I was expecting a slightly softer bread texture. Staff was super nice and quick and helpful in suggestions. The place looks like a clean neat deli with nice indoor and outdoor seating along Abbot Kinney.

This is truly a delicious sandwich. I have had a lot of Italian style sandwiches in Italy, SF, LA, the east coast, etc, and the ingredients and overall creation of this was extremely strong. Try the Venice and add avocado. I also dropped half my sandwich as they were handing it to me, and they were gracious enough to make me a whole new sandwich. It was very kind!

Wow wow WOW. Completely worth the venture to get here (we live about 30 mins from WITHOUT any traffic) They were quite busy, but the staff were all very gracious to us waiting in line. They were also more than happy to describe in detail (felt like an education!) the questions about some menu items we had. Have I mentioned the staff was absolutely wonderful, so kind, warm & full of gratitude for all its patrons. Led by their manager Austin who took the opportunity to walk around checking in on the tables after their rush died down. That’s very uncommon & hospitable beyond! I wish I had captured more pictures of the sandwiches we got, but I wasn’t planning to write a review until the sandwiches had been devoured. Their portions could easily feed two & the variety of options are all SO decadent. The freshest, cleanest tasting & feeling ingredients. From THE FOCACCIA, to the meats, cheeses & spreads, to all the fresh veggies, everything was 10/10. Have I mentioned the wonderful staff? We’re so looking forward to returning & trying everyyyything the menu has to offer! Grazie Mille!
